Your charge content stays on your device

Local charge data

DueBeam stores charge items, reminder dates, notes, selected screenshots, OCR text and backup files on your device. Recognition uses Apple Vision and local rules. DueBeam does not connect to your bank or email inbox and does not upload charge content to its account service.

Optional accounts

An account is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google, DueBeam may process an internal account identifier, provider binding, available email or display name, security timestamps, device-integrity evidence and a verified App Store entitlement binding. Provider credentials are not used to read Apple, Google, bank, email or payment-account content.

Purchases, diagnostics, and analytics

Apple processes DueBeam Pro purchases. DueBeam receives StoreKit information needed to verify the lifetime entitlement but does not receive your payment-card details.

Diagnostics are exported only after your action and exclude charge content and account identifiers. The V1 app does not link a standalone analytics or advertising product. Apple may provide aggregate App Analytics under Apple's privacy controls.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you edit it, delete it, restore a backup over it, or choose My > Data > Delete All Data. You can separately delete an optional cloud account from My > Account > Delete Account.

Security audit records contain an event type, a one-way account hash and a server timestamp. These records are retained for up to 180 days and are then deleted.
